The foundation of Ashok Oswal Group was laid down by late Shree Kunwar Lal Jain, the beloved father of Shree Ashok Kumar Jain, in the year 1971 in order to organize the disorganized artisans of Agra, who were engaged in the art of inlaid marble handicrafts to promote this novel art to the world. Today we have a large fleet of 45 Luxury coaches and over 200 cars spread over to five branches - Agra, Jhansi, Khajuraho, Varanasi and Gwalior. In 1997, major expansion took place and time it was Madhya Pradesh where another showroom in the name of Kandariya Shilp Gram, Kandariya Art & Culture as well as deluxe boutique hotel was opened to develop various local art and culture of the area. Orchha was new destination promoted by the Orchha Resort, which is now known to the World. In 2004, in order to capture the new high-end Tourist traffic to India, we started a new showroom in the name of Kalakriti, which is stones throw from the world famous Taj Mahal and catering to the up market tourists visiting Agra. The latest and the most desired activity in the form of evening entertainment came Kalakriti Cultural & Convention Centre with the seating capacity of appx. 600 audiences, which is state of the Art Auditorium aimed at live performance, Meetings, Conferences.
