I have always been interested in the built environment and how affects our daily lives. Town planning is about balancing the needs of developers, residents, businesses and the wider community to ensure that new development works for everyone. I set up Asher Planning Ltd in 2012, to help people submit successful planning and listed building applications, appeal unfair planning decisions and object to inappropriate development. I am a chartered town planner with many years’ experience in the public and private sectors, so I understand how the planning system works and am able to provide honest objective advice. I am a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and regularly attend training events so that I am up to date with the latest planning legislation, case law and policy.
