We have a public service role, crucial to ensuring the country's electricity supply and enabling the entire Italian electricity system to function: we conduct grid planning, development, and maintenance activities, as well as ensuring a 24/7, year-round balance between electricity supply and demand.
With the skills acquired managing the Italian grid, we invest in new market activities through innovative energy solutions and international projects.
Through Terna Plus, the Group company responsible for developing new businesses across the globe, we are active in Chile, Peru, Brazil and USA. We offer international operators access to the extensive technological know-how we have consolidated in the management of complex systems, transmission.
We are committed to building a future powered by clean energy, enabling new forms of consumption and production increasingly based on renewable sources. This will allow us to achieve the goal of delivering an energy transition that is fair and inclusive, whilst also lowering costs.
