Ascension Catholic School is dedicated to the teaching mission of the Church by providing the child with a family-centered, value oriented educational environment. We are committed to academic excellence and acceptance of 21st century educational philosophies and technologies. The faculty and staff of this pre-kindergarten through eighth grade school are committed to a Christ-centered atmosphere of learning, guidance, concern, experience and discovery. Regarding students as individuals, we are dedicated to a curriculum that provides a structured academic foundation with stimulating critical thinking, fostering creativity and collaboration and encouraging self-initiated learning as a life-long process. Ascension's curriculum includes religion, mathematics, language arts, science, social studies and Spanish, as well as art, computers, music and physical education at all levels. Soarin', an enrichment program is offered, along with a Title I funded learning support program. Extra-curricular programs include academic, non-academic and sports activities.
