Artwise Curators Information

Artwise is a London based curating practice which was founded in 1996. We curate, commission and manage projects internationally. We act as a think tank and facilitator, generating a wide range of arts projects that span the commercial and museum worlds. For corporate clients we apply imaginative thinking to projects and campaigns, enhancing business and communicating their brand through innovative creative projects and support of the arts. In the public sector, we have invented and implemented art programmes and fundraising schemes for museums, arts organisations and charities. Rather than representing artists, we select appropriate practitioners for each commission, creating challenging opportunities for artists and designers. We have been particularly successful in championing support for artists to research and develop the latest technological opportunities, and in encouraging cross-pollination between creative disciplines. Over the last ten years Artwise work has included: initiating and project managing large-scale commissions; curating ambitious temporary exhibitions; creating and managing private and selected corporate art collections; producing high-quality art publications; setting up prizes and award schemes; leading research and feasibility studies; and regular consultation exercises.
