ARTS Rx™ / NYC CREATIVE ARTS THERAPY, PLLC is a licensed provider dedicated to promoting the use of Creative Arts Therapy with special needs children and families in the NYC area. Children with special needs is defined as those who may have one or more delays in physical, sensory, cognitive, speech/language or emotional development. We specialize in treating special needs populations such as children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disabilities along with children facing Complex Medical Conditions. The ARTS Rx™ program provides therapeutic services to children and families interested in utilizing the creative process to foster emotional expression. We offer an integrated approach that combines hands-on creative arts experiences through the modalities of art therapy, music therapy, drama therapy, and dance/movement therapy with best-practice interventions to address treatment goals such as: Social Skills, Coping Skills, Communication, Sensory Integration,Attention Span, Self Esteem, and Developmental Growth.
