On a mission… Our purpose is to create a thriving, sustainable future for the performing arts in Dumfries & Galloway that is accessible to all, that inspires, entertains and informs audiences and participants, and is celebrated as an industry leader for Scottish rural performing arts development. Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival is Scotland’s largest rural multi-art form festival, with 41 events in 29 venues across the full breadth of the region. Arts Live is a network of venues, performing artists and promoters hosting performing arts events across Dumfries and Galloway to create a diverse programme. We work in partnership with a network of venues, artists and promoters to facilitate the programming of quality touring performing arts to the region.
