ArtistLed is an independent recording company founded in 1997 by cellist David Finckel and pianist Wu Han. To date, ArtistLed has released sixteen recordings, all to critical acclaim. ArtistLed is an enterprise which evolved out of the desire of two musicians, David Finckel and Wu Han, to produce recordings in an environment free from constraints: artistic, commercial, technical and procedural. ArtistLed is not as much a company as a means for musicians to record what they want the way they want, and to offer their records directly to the public. -- Music@Menlo is an internationally acclaimed chamber music festival and institute in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded by David Finckel and Wu Han as a program of Menlo School, Music@Menlo features unique immersive programming, a roster of world-class artists, and a Chamber Music Institute for emerging and pre-professional musicians. Intimate performance venues and signature offerings such as AudioNotes CDs, Café Conversations, and the Encounter lecture series offer a wide range of opportunities for aficionados and newcomers of all ages to connect with chamber music in new and innovative ways.
