ARTA = ART + ARCHITECTURE, where the thought-provoking and experiential qualities of art meets the functionality and spatiality of architecture. The two inform and inspire each other in their works to create unexpected designs that stimulates one’s thoughts, emotions, and senses. Co-founded by Arnold Yok Fai Wong and Tat Lai Wong in 2021, ARTA believes through their work in a wide spectrum of design disciplines of architecture, interior, art installations, furniture and social design, they continually learn from and are inspired by each field in their ongoing quest to evolve and expand their creative minds. Prior to co-founding ARTA, both co-founders have had vast experience working on award-winning architectural projects in the commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors in Hong Kong. Both co-founders also possess extensive knowledge of local building codes and regulations, contract and construction administration, as well as a holistic understanding of the opportunities and constraints of each project to ensure that all projects are realised in accordance with the design intent and in a timely manner. Since its founding in 2021, the team has won numerous awards such as the Special Award at the HKIA Annual Awards 2024, FRAME Furniture of the Year 2024, Perspective A&D Gold Award, as well as the Qianhai Design Open 2025 Accelerator for Hong Kong Young Talents and continue to take on more challenging and complex projects in their pursuit for originality and creativity. Their works have been exhibited at prestigious events such as the Milan Design Week and Venice Architecture Biennale. ARTA is an ever-growing organism of creativity in which every team member plays a valuable contribution to the design process with their talent and passion. ARTA Architects Limited is classified as a Band 3 Architectural Consultant by The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) and The Association of Architectural Practices (AAP), and is certified with the ISO 9001:2015.
