Launched in 2016, as Art Week Exeter (AWE) we have produced an annual city-wide festival, designed to stimulate and promote artistic activity. AWE encourages local people and visitors to view the city in a different way, by filling the streets and venues with creativity. From the grass-roots, with local artists opening up their private studios, to internationally-renowned artists bringing work into the city centre, activity builds through the week to a crescendo on Spring Bank Holiday weekend.
