The Armed Citizens' Legal Defense Network, Inc. is a membership organization dedicated to preventing abuse by the criminal justice system of its members who act in justifiable self defense. In addition to the Network's membership benefits package, its mission includes educating all armed citizens so gun owners can both appropriately counter threats and better manage interactions with law enforcement and the legal system after self defense. As part of this effort, the Network has educated over 100,000 armed citizens every year through its complimentary booklet What Every Gun Owner Needs to Know About Self-Defense Law, by Marty Hayes, J.D. These booklets are distributed through the Network's hundreds of Affiliated Instructors and Affiliated Gun Shops, but more can be accomplished.
