ARK is changing the face of recruitment. We believe, as a business, we have a social responsibility towards our clients and the communities we work within! So, we’ve funded and set up a social enterprise with a mission to provide a high-quality responsive recruitment service that’s fair, transparent and supports the sustainable development, wellbeing and living standards of people at every possible opportunity. Established in 2018, ARK (formerly known as Maekkazi) is the UK’s first dedicated not-for-profit Social Housing Recruitment Consultancy. Our founders are seasoned Social Housing professionals and Public Sector Recruitment Consultants with experience in both industries dating back to 2000. We draw on our experience and far-reaching networks to provide a bespoke, affordable and compliant recruitment service that connects organisations with great talent throughout the UK. We’ve vowed to use our trading surplus to provide free and subsidised learning and development opportunities for our jobseekers and communities. We support and partner with various local and international community groups who deliver employability training and entrepreneurship support for young people, vulnerable women, refugees and other hard-to-reach groups from deprived communities.
