The Hotel took approximately 2 years to build and was opened for business at the end of August 2008. Designed around the theme of 1940´s and 1950´s Bangkok but with all the modern facilities and amenities. The Hotel has been designed and appointed with quality local and imported materials - old re-cycled teak floors, antique and reproduction furniture, Thai silk drapes. Lush tropical gardens (designed by the original owner´s Grand Daughter) are a welcome relief to the bustling, busy city outside the gates. In Bangkok for whatever reason let us take care of you. The main house was built by the current owners grandparents - Khun Phra Chareon and Khun Aroon Sheanakul in 1942 s their private residence during world war II. Khun Phra Chareon was born in 1895. His father was an English Engineer - Mr John Edward Austin Shea M.I.E.E. who came to Thailand during the the reign of King Rama V in 1894 to work for the Royal Siamese Electric Light Department . He married a Thai lady - Khun Ya Gee who worked in the Palace at that time.
