The National Safety Council is America’s leading nonprofit safety advocate – and has been for over 100 years. As a mission-based organization, we work to eliminate the leading causes of preventable death and injury, focusing our efforts on the workplace, roadway and impairment. We create a culture of safety to not only keep people safer at work, but also beyond the workplace so they can live their fullest lives.
Safe Kids Worldwide is a global nonprofit dedicated to protecting kids from preventable injuries, the number one cause of death to children in the United States. Around the world, a child dies every 30 seconds from an injury that could have been prevented. Safe Kids is a go-to resource to help parents keep kids safe from car crashes, fires, falls, poisoning and more. Through more than 400 coalitions in the U.S. and partners in more than 30 countries, Safe Kids works with children’s hospitals, trauma centers, first responders and public health experts to get life-saving information to families. Together, we can help all kids grow up healthy and safe.
RoadSafe is a charitable partnership which brings together private sector with government and road safety professionals.
Our mission is to reduce road deaths and injuries by supporting and encouraging partnerships between the private sector and road safety professionals to promote the safe system, sharing knowledge, encouraging innovation and recognising achievement.
We bring together representatives from government, the vehicle and component manufacturing, insurance and road transport industries, road safety professionals and specialist media, to find new approaches to reducing casualties amongst vulnerable groups.
Launched in October 2001, it has grown from the respected Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards, which have been recognising outstanding achievement and innovation in road safety since 1987.
