Arifsoft Corporation is a software company that specializes in building mobile and web solutions for the African diaspora, with a focus on the Ethiopian diaspora. Arifsoft owns and operates ArifZefen, the first and most widely used Ethiopian music app on both Android and iOS with a combined download of over 1.5M. We are a team of passionate individuals with a shared appreciation for great products that are both functional and fun to use. Engineering is in our DNA and we have a combined experience of over 30 years building consumer and enterprise products. We are also a fun loving bunch and make sure we always put some time aside to enjoy life and what it has to offer. Our pursuit of understanding and building mobile products has taken us on an exciting journey that covers a wide range of product areas including social networking, music and video. And yet, this journey is only starting and we are excited about leveraging other technologies like machine learning in understanding our users and giving them unique and personalized experiences. We are avid students of our craft and enjoy every day for the new lessons it brings about our products, our users and the problems we are trying to solve. Our mission is to re-imagine and re-invent the way mobile products are being used, particularly in developing parts of the world. The smartphone is the new and more affordable computer, and our goal is to build products that will allow our users to have more fun and be more effective anytime, anywhere.
