Argus-X Information

Argus X has been a division of the American company Argus Ltd since 1993. During this time, apart from trading on the industrial electronics market (see www.argus-x.ru), and welding equipment (see http://www.arguslimited.com/), we have also been involved in assistance to western companies and businessmen in establishing business contacts in Russia and the new States, formed following the dissolution of the USSR. Since 2006, following the restructuring of Argus Limited, OOO Argus X has been a part of the Argus group as a division, specialising in trade in equipment and materials for the electronics industry. In addition, within the company, we have set up a consultancy department, which, in conjunction with our UK partner Albion (Overseas) Ltd (http://www.albionoverseas.com/), offers assistance to overseas companies in their work in Russia and the so called “near abroad”. Our objective is not to establish our clients’ business or to conduct that business; our clients can do that themselves better than we can. Our aim is to offer a “leg-up” when our clients are entering a new market, giving them confidence that we can help them to navigate the intricacies of Russian legislation, not to become lost in the corridors of bureaucracy, and better to understand the specifics of the Russian way of doing business.
