In 2024, Argent LNG secured a long-term exclusive lease with the Port of Fourchon, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards becoming a premier LNG producer. With operations slated to commence in 2029/2030, we are poised to make a substantial impact in the LNG industry, both within the United States and on a global scale. Our primary focus is liquefied natural gas (LNG), which will be distributed to markets spanning four continents, catering to the increasing demand for eco-friendly energy solutions worldwide. We are at the forefront of the shale gas revolution, leveraging abundant reserves and favorable prices to position the U.S. as a leading global LNG export source. Our liquefaction trains will have the daily capacity to generate LNG output capable of powering and illuminating a community of over 500,000 homes for an entire day. This abundance, combined with competitive prices, positions the U.S. gas market as an attractive source for LNG exports. In line with this market shift, Argent LNG has initiated its liquefaction project, aiming to add over 20 million metric tonnes per annum (mtpa) of liquefaction capacity to its Port Fourchon location, positioning the terminal as one of the largest exporters of natural gas. Economic Impact: The economic impacts of our facility are substantial, with an estimated creation of approximately 30,000 new permanent jobs across the U.S. to support feed gas exploration and production. The overall economic benefits of exporting the contracted 20 mtpa of LNG from the U.S. are estimated between $5.5 billion and $8 billion annually.
