Arexpo s.p.a. Information

Arexpo is a private company held by a majority of public-sector shareholders, founded in 2011 to acquire the areas destined to host Expo Milano 2015. Since the ending of the event we have worked to enhance the site, by opening to the community on several occasions, and defining a new development for the entire site, a space of more than one million square metres. Our work has led to the creation of MIND Milano Innovation District, an innovation hub and a new neighborhood for the city: a project with strong international ambitions, strategic for the entire country, built together with the ideas of Lendlease, the private partner in this operation. Arexpo now continues to accompany MIND’s advancement, guaranteeing the certitude of administrative procedures and taking care of community activation. Today, our commitment opens up to future initiatives throughout Lombardy, where we can use our expertise as mediators between institutions and private operators.
