It´s a family owned business, managed and run by Fermín Juanes Olalla whose family has been in the stone business for over 27 years. Generation after generation, we have dedicated ourselves to extracting & processing stone. Back in 1987, Fermín set up the first stone company in the area. He began to industrialize the production process in a small workshop. Areniscas Sierra de la Demanda was modernized in 2008 by upgrading its machinery & factory which now covers an area of 25,000 m2 and improving the efficiency of the extraction, cutting and processing methods for sandstone, enabling us to offer our customers the best products and finishes in the market. Our company now owns several sandstone quarries, as close as 4 miles from the factory, enabling us to offer different tone sandstone to suit any project. Long-term reserves & productive capacity both in quantity and grade is guaranteed. The quality, durability and technical properties of our material is highly valued and sought after by all our customers both in the national and international markets, where we are currently well established.
