Founder Hamilton Arendsen served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of California for almost ten years, ending his term with the justice department as a Deputy Chief in the Trial Section of the office. While working at the United States Attorney’s Office, Hamilton tried over 30 jury trials and received the Certificate of Congressional Recognition for his work prosecuting violent crime and drug trafficking cases. Hamilton also brings significant civil litigation experience to his current practice, having clerked for the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Hamilton now puts his advocacy skills to work representing individuals and corporations accused of crimes, as well as victims of catastrophic injuries and their families. Similarly, founder Joseph C. Cane, Jr. brings to the firm over 20 years of exemplary legal experience. Joe began his law career at the national law firms of Preston Gates & Ellis, LLP, and Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, LLP, specializing in complex civil litigation As a litigator, Joe tried a number of cases and also participated in numerous arbitrations, mediations and negotiations. In 2006, he founded Business Law Professional Corporation, a Los Angeles-based corporate and entertainment law firm, where he specialized in representing companies and individuals in business, media, entertainment, technology and financial transactions – a practice he continues today as a partner of Arendsen Cane Molnar LLP.
