Accessable provides disability equipment and housing and vehicle modification services across Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and Te Tai Tokerau Northland. For more than 25 years, we have worked alongside disabled people, people with injuries, whānau, assessors, funders, suppliers and disability-sector partners to deliver practical solutions that support independence, participation and wellbeing. We deliver services on behalf of the Ministry of Social Development and ACC. Our team brings extensive experience in disability and injury-related support, including specialist knowledge of service pathways, funding eligibility and assessment criteria. Our shared purpose is to support disabled people and people with injuries to live self-determined, mana-enhancing lives in their homes and communities.

Keeping New Zealand moving - Independently. We're New Zealand's largest supplier of modified rental vehicles, helping people stay mobile, independent and on the road after injury or while living with a long-term condition. Our nationwide fleet includes Wheelchair Accessible vans, Hand Control cars, and Left-Foot Accelerator vehicles - all designed to make driving and travel accessible to everyone. Our hand control vehicles come fitted with adaptions like hand controls, steering wheel spinners, and indicator extensions, ideal for leg, arm, hip, back or hand injuries. We provide expert instruction and support with qualified driving instructors to help you get confident using the controls, so can quickly and safely return to driving yourself - no special licence required. We also offer Wheelchair Accessible vans for short- and long-term hire, ideal for individuals, families, events or group transport, and Left-Foot accelerator vehicles for drivers with long-term right leg injuries (following a specialist training programme). As an ACC Approved Service Provider, many of our hires can be full funded if you have had an accident. For private hires, costs are comparable to standard rental vehicles - and often far more affordable than taxis.
