Owners Franz Madlener & Brooke Pollock have lived Bayside all their life, and decided to bring their love of live music, and many years of food, functions and catering experience to life with Arcobar. Franz Madlener was a founder of the international Villa & Hut Kafe brand, and Bonbons Bakery group (just to name a few), with food industry awards spanning 20 years Franz brings to the local area a unique, fresh and ever-changing selection of food, music & drinks. Brooke Pollock was a founder of the Baykers brand, having provided the Bayside suburbs with beautiful patisseries, cakes, homemade gourmet pies, take home meals, unique salads, and of course great coffee! With a great reputation for its catering offer, Brooke brings to the business a unique understanding of event catering, corporate functions, and large format events - as well as a great understanding of what good pastry items should taste like! Famous for its highly awarded $19.50 lunch offer (available from 11:30am – 2:30pm Monday to Friday), which includes a glass of Scotchmans Hill wine, or a beer on tap, table bookings at Arcobar are highly recommended. Arcobar proudly roasts its own coffee, has its own Baykers Brew brand beer on tap (amongst others), and is a Scotchmans Hill preferred restaurant, with an extensive selection of their wines. Over the past 14 years Arcobar has hosted over a 1000 private functions (with an average rating of 4.8 stars out of 5.0!), including weddings, wakes, christenings, birthdays - and even a divorce party, with space for up to 150 people.
