The ARCIDS Lab, based at the School of Information Management at Wuhan University, is one of the first eight Key Laboratories approved by the National Archives Administration of China. Our research focuses on the intelligent development, governance, and service of archival information resources within the broader framework of national digital governance. We advance research across archival AI, intelligent information organization, trusted data governance, digital preservation, and user-centered archival services. The lab also contributes to emerging fields such as AI governance, risk management, and responsible archival technology development. ARCIDS Lab integrates applied fundamental research, technological innovation, talent cultivation, and policy insights. We aim to deliver high-quality archival technologies, professional expertise, open research platforms, and evidence-based knowledge for the modernization of archival governance.
