Kengo Kuma was born in 1954. He established Kengo Kuma & Associates in Tokyo in 1990 and in Paris in 2008 and became Professor at the Graduate School of Architecture, University of Tokyo in 2009.
A general contractor with the 100th anniversary of founding approaching in 2010. In addition to mainstay building construction and civil engineering businesses, it is also engaged in urban redevelopment projects. In particular with respect to urban redevelopment, it has accumulated significant expertise and experience spanning a number of projects. It is headquartered in Tokyo and has 14 branch offices as well as a technical and research center in Japan. It is engaged in business in Asia, Central and South America, with a particular focus on China. The Fujita group consists of 11 consolidated subsidiaries, including three overseas subsidiaries. It was MBOed by GS PIA in 2009.
