William Robert King, the firm’s founder, began his career in New York City thirty-six years ago as a project architect in the office of Ulrich Franzen and Associates, a noted international architectural firm. Mr. King’s experience working on projects such as Champion International Headquarters in Stamford, CT; Con Edison-Queens Division Headquarters in Forest Hills, NY; and the Headquarters for Philip Morris inNew York City among many others, created the background for establishing his own practice in April of 1984. From that point onward, Mr. King has developed a firm known for expertise in a wide range of projects and providing a variety of services for a diverse clientele. In the first decade of practice, the firm’s work concentrated on residential rehabilitation projects for individual clients. In the years since the firm has seen a continuing trend towards residential, medical and commercial projects. We are committed to improving the quality of services as well as maintaining our high design standards.
