Architectural Stone is based in Cardiff and operate throughout Wales and England. From our well-equipped stonemasonry workshops we use the latest stone cutting and polishing machinery. This includes a Breton bridge saw with 5 axis capabilities and a lathe that has working dimensions of 3.200 x 0.960 m. Combine this with traditional hand carving techniques by our in-house banker masons and experienced site fixers we are able to offer a full range of stonemasonry services; • Stone cleaning, • Restoration and conservation, • New build ashlar and rain screen cladding, • Bespoke stone carving, • Stone supply (Limestone, Sandstone, Granite, Marble and Slate) • and Stone walling. We have worked on a range of conservation and restoration projects such as Margam Country Park and Insole Court, Cardiff. Experienced in new build developments from a traditional private chapel in the Cotswold with load bearing masonry and solid natural stone walls to a modern rain screen stone cladding system at the new royal mint visitors centre.
