Archipelo is a software security R&D shop. We research how software gets created, changed, and executed, and we build infrastructure that makes that activity observable and verifiable. Our focus is the actors behind software: human developers, AI copilots, autonomous agents, and the automation around them. These actors write code, run tools, use credentials, and change systems and state, often faster and more independently than people can follow. Archipelo studies the security problems this creates and turns the research into working infrastructure. This is how Salmon was created. Salmon is Execution Verification Infrastructure that produces verifiable, machine-consumable records of consequential software execution. We're a small, deliberately focused team. We favor precise problems, explicit guarantees, and infrastructure other systems can build on.
