Archilinea s.r.l Information

Archilinea is an architectural and graphic design studio operating, since 1981, in Sassuolo in the north Italian province of Modena. The studio handles the entire architectural project development process from technical analysis to the site construction stage, providing also graphic design services. The initial steps of Studio Archilinea were taken in the architectural and industrial design sector associated with the Sassuolo ceramics district. Alongside its competences in designing ceramic facilities, over the years Archilinea has developed special expertise in the sector of engineering and automotive manufacturing and design, serving private companies and public bodies. Archilinea then proceeded with its specialization process also in the public works sector (schools, gymnasiums, town halls). In recent years Archilinea's mission has shifted: today Archilinea is mainly bringing its expertise to urban recovery, energy sustainability and quality building to create high quality work, leisure and living spaces. At the same time Archilinea has been gaining experience in the field of industrial design consultancy, working with several top Italian brands including Ferrari Spa and Lamborghini. Using innovative design techniques applied to the recovery of disused industrial facilities and sites, Archilinea has developed nationally recognized competences in environmentally sustainable and green design. This background led to the design of the first energy class "A" public building in Emilia Romagna (Trezzano school in Castellarano, Reggio Emilia) and the first class "A" industrial building ('Protoshop', designed and built for Automobili Lamborghini). Archilinea has also gradually accumulated experience and skills over the years in the area of residential building design and has recently designed the first class "A" multi-storey timber residential building in Emilia Romagna.
