Archetype Projects Information

Archetype Projects designs and builds high-end private homes across prime London. We take single-line responsibility for the entire process - from initial concept and planning through to construction and completion - working as a design-led studio rather than a traditional contractor. The practice is led by Ali and Polly Kahloon. Ali brings a background as a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank and nearly two decades in London property development, planning and construction. Polly leads the design direction, with six years working across leading interior design studios and a particular focus on materiality, spatial composition and finish. We work with a carefully chosen group of architects and designers, appointing the right team for each project. Our in-house trades - carpenters, bricklayers, roofers, decorators and electricians - give us direct control over construction quality in a way most design studios can't offer. We take on a select number of projects each year, by design.
