Check out our website at https://www.archerimpact.com/ Archer is a technology nonprofit working with journalists, researchers, and NGOs to build tools leveraging big data to further human-centered security. We design, build, and deploy software solutions that enhance human analysis of real-world data (previous projects include www.dashbit.co, a bitcoin dashboard that allows investigators to track illicit addresses, generate algorithm-based insight, and collaborate with other investigators). Current partners include the Open Source Investigation Lab at the Boalt School of Law and the Financial Integrity Network to build tools that help researchers and investigators address war crimes in Syria, hate speech in Burma, and supply chain transparency. Archer's work has attracted interest from the US Treasury Department - Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (a nonprofit in Washington D.C.), Coinbase, Boalt Law School, and freelance journalists. We're looking for software engineers, designers, and executors to join us.
