"Period music powerhouse Arcangelo” (The Guardian) is a double Gramophone Award-winning, GRAMMY-nominated period performance ensemble founded in 2010 by our Artistic Director Jonathan Cohen. Announced in 2024 as the first-ever Principal Ensemble in Residence at the London Handel Festival, we were also the first named Baroque Ensemble in Residence at Wigmore Hall, with which we are proud to retain a close artistic relationship.
