Arcadia is building a new city for the arts in Puerto Rico. The recent writers’ strike unveiled the belated need for a new creative haven and a better system to facilitate its production. Formal art colonies have been established since the 19th century. The arts deserve a new ecosystem rooted in holistic artistry and creative sovereignty that challenges the commodified nature of contemporary art. Our community exists to establish a decentralized and bespoke infrastructure that fosters unparalleled creative production and cultural renaissance, drawing the most flourishing artists and creative institutions in the world.
