ARA currently offers volunteer roles in the following areas:Front desk volunteers: Responsibilities include answering phones, making appointments, providing information or referrals to service users and helping to manage our drop in space. Administrative volunteers: Do you have a passion for organization, research or supporting us in our work by providing analysis, organizational skills or outreach at community events? We are always looking for people to support us in building our capacity to provide accurate advice and information to clients. Outreach volunteers: Our outreach team works in the community providing one on one material and social support to clients including accompaniment to appointments and help with managing their health needs. Volunteers work in home, hospital and facility settings. Every volunteer position at ARA comes with a full Agency training including the basics of non violent crisis intervention and suicide intervention, and opportunities for attendance at special events and outreach community events.
