Before AREquipment - The success of Auto Ribeiro Auto Ribeiro LDA, our mother company was created in 1976. Started in the business of transforming hearses in a 300 m2 garage, which soon became too small for the volume of orders and necessitated the acquisition of a warehouse of 1000m2 .While continuing to transform hearses, the need was felt to innovate and explore a new market so the company founder, António Ribeiro, decided to alter the business direction and develop the industrial dimension. In 1986 the company started transforming ambulances, resulting from an analysis of the market and its growing needs. -The creation of Equipment – Immediate success Thriving in the ambulance world is not easy but looking to provide the best service, we realized that to make the best ambulance possible we would also need to create our own equipment. So in the year of 1979 we started creating Equipment, which gave us the possiblilitiy to customize and adapt to every client needs, offering them exactly what they wanted. The present - How about na electric charriot? Since 2014 we decided to expand our brand and bussiness and we created AREquipment, so not only we continue to supply Auto Ribeiro, with AREquipment we also come to the needs of any customer in different markets. Our trending design and known quality is recognized but we don’t stop there. We launch new products every year improving old one and we even created the A 200, a patented electric Charriot that is equiped with a security system with power cut (a Hand crank, a manual alternative in case of power failure), an auxiliar system for manual movement and with 12V DC Power.
