Aquaya is a nonprofit research and consulting organization dedicated to improving safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in low- and middle-income countries through science and evidence-based solutions. We generate rigorous research and apply practical knowledge to strengthen water systems, inform government policy, support local service providers, and guide funding decisions. Our work sits at the intersection of WASH research, program design, and capacity strengthening, with a strong focus on local ownership and long-term impact. Aquaya’s mission is to increase access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene in underserved communities by providing the data and tools needed to drive evidence-based policy and program decisions.
