Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Aquanita Foods – formerly known as Atlantis Miami – is a long-time leader in seafood farming, processing and importing. President Yvonne Mesegue has a decade of experience in the international food trading sector. Prior to launching Aquanita in 2004, Ms. Mesegue helped a global food company establish an import operation in Miami including sourcing, importing, quality control, cold storage warehousing and delivery. Under her leadership, Aquanita Foods has partnered with Eastern Poultry to provide customers with additional high-quality products at the lowest market pricing. Founded in 1954, Eastern Poultry specializes in the wholesale distribution of poultry, beef, seafood, pork and other products, serving foodservice institutions, retailers and restaurants, schools, universities and hospitals, and nonprofit organizations. Today, Aquanita Foods is a global company with operations in four continents and strong partnerships with high-quality processing plants in Vietnam, Thailand and China. Our plants and testing laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment operated and supervised by Aquanita Foods’ on-site quality control inspectors.
