Aquamums Information

Exercising in the pool is ideal during pregnancy and after your baby is born. The buoyancy of water supports your growing body and allows for a low-impact workout without body strain or stress. Aquamums is a fun and comfortable way to keep fit during pregnancy and help your body prepare for childbirth. Its also a great way of returning to exercise after your baby is born enabling your body to recover and strengthen. Aquamums classes consist of a 45 minute workout which will tone your muscles, mobilise and gently stretch your body and increase your cardiovascular fitness. Specific strengthening exercises for the deep abdominals and pelvic floor muscles are emphasised. Aquamums - caring for the health and fitness of pregnant women. You can start Aquamums classes any time after the first trimester. The sooner you start in the second trimester the more benefits you will gain.
