T&C : Terms and Conditions for the use of this web site and the information contained on it. CHIPenable is the trading name of Andy Gayne, an Atmel trained AVR Consultant who has had a long and varied career within the electronics industry, with ten years as a Field Application Engineer within the distribution sector, primarily supporting Atmel products. In 2005 Andy began offering the CHIPenable design consultant service alongside the FAE role, and in late 2010 decided to make this a full time occupation. Field Applications Engineers are trained and certified by Atmel to support their 8 bit AVR, 8051, and 32 bit ARM and AVR32 processors, so as a former FAE Andy is able to offer a level of product knowledge which is unique amongst freelance design consultants in the UK. And it doesn't stop with Atmel, having also been trained at various times by Hitachi (now Renesas), Silicon Labs, Zilog, Oxford Semiconductor, Fujitsu, and a few other non-microcontroller manufacturers means CHIPenable is able to offer a flexible and professional service for whatever microcontroller or other electronic designs you may be contemplating. Design support available through CHIPenable consists of a complete embedded software consultancy service, along with electronic hardware design and schematic capture, a PCB design service, prototype build and test, plus professional-standard documentation for your end product. Whether you are looking for a full end-to-end design cycle or just some extra design resource for part of an ongoing project, CHIPenable is able to help. Experience within the component distribution industry has also allowed Andy to build good ...
