About AST2 Applied Systems and Technology Transfer (AST2) is a small business designated as a HUBZone Contractor by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), providing professional services to both Government and commercial clients. AST2’s goal is to provide technology solutions, including systems engineering and technical support services, to both governmental and commercial sectors. Applied Systems Group Applied Services Group focused on Federal programs and services, providing technology solutions and professional services to government and commercial clients. AST2 management has worked with Government agencies including DOD, DHS, DOE, FAA and NASA. Our personnel have performed a broad range of projects involving project management, engineering, systematization, construction and construction management, project controls, and other requirements; particularly for complex, high value projects that require integration of unique technologies. Applied Technology Transfer Group The Applied Technology Transfer Group is focused on technology development and transfer, and STEM education and workforce development. This Group develops and implements technology at the nexus of education and workforce development, advanced manufacturing and cloud computing, leveraging the synergistic opportunities of these areas.
