Established in 1989 by Thomas A. Greene, Applied Engineering, Inc. began as a small environmental consulting firm dedicated to quality work at a fair price. Work sites consist of a variety of underground contaminants, with specialization for the petroleum industry. Past investigation and clean-up projects include hundreds of petroleum spills and leaking tank sites in Minnesota and Wisconsin, resulting in agency file closure. At Applied Engineering, all work is directly managed and reviewed by the company owner, Thomas Greene. He is a U.S. Air Force Academy Graduate and a Licensed Professional Engineer. Having worked eight years for Mobil Oil Corp resulted in significant experience managing petroleum contamination issues while MAXIMIZING customer business operations. Tom's experience as an oil company engineer and having served as a US Air Force Civil Engineering officer results in an ideal balance of technical knowledge and business know-how. Moreover, Applied Engineering is able to incorporate state of the art technology and innovative solutions to serve as cost-saving measures.
