AppleCrossing was founded on a simple idea: to discover, promote and share the value found in each and every used Apple device. Used Apple products are resilient, retaining value and durable device performance in a market where new Apple product releases truly offer little additional utility to the “average” customer. AppleCrossing recognizes the value of quality used Apple products and seeks to share that value with its customers. We hope to extend quality Apple products to a customer pool who seeks to be “green” or those who can’t afford the expense of a new product. In recent years, an entire secondary market dedicated to the buying, selling, and the repair of used consumer electronics and devices has emerged. A subset of that market is used handheld devices (cellphones and tablets) produced by the Apple Corporation. AppleCrossing has decided to concentrate on this market subset because we recognize the superior value that Apple devices have garnered. This concentration also allows us to streamline our offerings and business processes, and ensures that we have insurmountable knowledge about the Apple devices that we buy, sell, and repair.
