AppleAtcha was formed to develop over 2,500 acres of former coal mines in Appalachia into high density apple orchards. Our goal is to create a new economic opportunities in the region by reinvigorating the land and its people. Our vision is a land reinvigorated with flourishing communities across Appalachia that can serve as a blueprint for the reclamation and growth of other challenged communities.
