Desarrollamos tecnologías basadas en ARNs con el fin de potenciar la productividad de los cultivos (principalmente intensivos) de manera respetuosa del ambiente y la salud humana. Se trata de una tecnología no transgénica que permite inmunizar a los cultivos contra patógenos específicos (hongos, insectos, virus), a modo de “vacuna”. Además, sabemos cómo modular el desarrollo del cultivo, su respuesta al ambiente o la acumulación de metabolitos de interés mediante el diseño de ARNs como moléculas bioactivas exógenas que modulen la expresión de genes de la planta.
