APECS Portugal (Association of Polar Early Career Scientists) Information

APECS Portugal is the representative in Portugal of the Association of Polar Early Career Scientist (APECS). APECS is an interdisciplinary and international organization of students, researchers, educators and others interested in polar regions and the cryosphere. Internationally recognized as the greatest legacy of the International Polar Year 2007-2009, the APECS represents more than 50,000 polar young researchers with more than 20 national committees worldwide, including non-polar countries as Italy, Belgium and Brazil.
