Anyware Technologies is deeply involved in the Apache Foundation through her employees as active members and her Research & Technology Director who is also one of the Vices-Presidents of the Foundation and the President of the Apache Cocoon project. The Apache Foundation is composed of the best experts in the world, including 1,300 «committers» (experts having a right to directly modify the source code of the Foundation softwares) et 28 vice-presidents, who are all in charge of worldwide opensource projects. The Apache Foundation has a strong influence on the directions taken by the computer industry and its standards. Besides, Anyware Technologies is one of the founders of ORIXO, an alliance of european companies which shares their means and experiences in order to offer their customers high quality services. Anyware Technologies has choosen Eclipse as the Java development environment appropriate to respond to industrial issues. Eclipse is used for developing plugins on an industrial basis. All the products and solutions we offer are designed to take into account possible future upgrades of the Eclipse platform. Our company is also deeply involved in the Eclipse Foundation in which she has created the Lepido project, a development environment designed to facilitate the use of the Apache Cocoon framework. Thereby, Lepido represents a «bridge» between the Apache world and the Eclipse world.
