Ant Studio Information

Founded in 2010 by Monish Siripurapu, Ant Studio is a multi disciplinary studio based out of Delhi, India. Our integrated design practice includes architecture, interior design, art installations, cooling installations and product design. Our sole motive is to bridge the gap between craft and machinery embracing all spheres of art, architecture, technology and materiality fusing with nature. Ant Studio works with a clear vision where sustainability is not seen as an option but a core principle and an opportunity to create designs that go beyond functional and aesthetic concerns, generating an intimate rendezvous between the products and nature. Our team is made up of skilled individuals from various disciplines, such as architects, interior designers, artists, exhibition designers, engineers, business developers and craftspersons, all together bringing in a diverse perspective to the design process. After years of Ant’s experience within the realm of architecture in India, in the year 2016, a futuristic human-robot interaction was setup with an intention to blend the brilliance of artistic intuition and logical thinking to aid achievement of speedy dividends. As a research driven studio, emphasis is given on material exploration and advanced tools, using computation and digital fabrication tools as part of the design process tethering labor intensive construction strategies with technology. We aim at experimentation, by resorting to a hands-on approach in design and innovation.
