Ansor was established by Ed Ainsworth, Peter Marson and Peter Strafford to continue their successful strategy of investing in small and medium sized companies in growing, fragmented sectors. The founding partner team have a long and successful track record over their careers, advising on the establishment and acquisition of UK SMEs and delivering attractive investment returns. Ansor Fund I closed in February 2021, having reached its target fund commitments, and is now fully deployed. Ansor Fund I has completed thirty-five equity deals in five platform companies with Ansor Fund I’s TVPI reaching 2.5x at end of June 2022. In August 2022 Ansor Fund Ib closed to make further investments in the Ansor Fund I portfolio.
