AnotherBrain Information

AnotherBrain is a French company founded in 2017 by Bruno Maisonnier, father of the humanoid robots Nao and Pepper, to develop new artificial intelligence engines using singular approaches. Its research teams draw inspiration from the brain and collective intelligence of social insects to reproduce the equivalent of a piece of cortex on a microchip. This general-purpose, portable AI is far more powerful than current AIs, as it is frugal in data and energy, capable of learning unsupervised, in real-time, and of explaining its decisions. In parallel, and response to a growing demand for intelligent automation solutions in industry, AnotherBrain has developed a quality control solution. This vision-based quality control solution reinvents intelligent defect detection in production methods. Initially robotized, this solution evolved in 2023 into a purely algorithmic "Blue Phosphor®" product. AnotherBrain is a winner of the Plan France 2030 and raised 5 million euros in 2023 to strengthen its position as a leader in quality control via artificial intelligence.
