Annycent is an alternative investment management firm focused on climate investments in emerging and frontier markets. It was founded in 2022 by Cyrille Arnould, a recognized leader in impact investing with over 30 years of experience. Members of Annycent's team were among the first, in 2008, to invest in renewable energy in emerging markets. Annycent is currently raising its flagship vehicle, the Annycent Africatalyser Fund, which will acquire a diversified portfolio of operating renewable energy assets across Africa. The fund will blend public and private capital to de-risk secondary-market investments and enable the recycling of risk capital into the development of new renewable energy projects. The fund is targeting a total size of USD 400 million, with a first close expected in 2026.
