The Angkor Photo Festival & Workshops (APFW) was launched in 2005 as a non-profit organisation with a key purpose: to offer photographers in Asia affordable and accessible opportunities for professional development and growth. We have remained committed to this mission over the years, while adapting to the evolving needs of our community and the changing landscape of photography. Based in Siem Reap, Cambodia, the APFW is Southeast Asia’s oldest established international photography event. Our regular annual programme consists of the Angkor Photo Workshops for Asian photographers and the Angkor Photo Festival, which features exhibitions, projection screenings, talks and an array of other activities to engage visitors and the general public. Our programmes are firmly non-commercial and egalitarian.
